One of the simplest ways to let your voice be heard is to write a Letter to the Editor. The opinion page is one of the single most read sections of any newspaper. It affords the opportunity to persuasively present your views on any issue to thousands of readers. This is your chance to help others think about an issue as you do.

From property tax reform to stem cell research , from homeland security to health care , your opinion and support for Democratic initiatives matters!

When you write a Letter to the Editor, remember these three rules:
1. Be respectful.
2. Be succinct.
3. Include your contact information, so the paper can confirm you wrote it.

Select the newspapers to which you wish to send your letter. Please limit your selection to no more than three newspapers.
